Canvas for Instructors
Canvas allows you to integrate multimedia course content, course communication, student assessments (assignments, surveys, quizzes, portfolios), and student grades to create an interconnected virtual space for your class. You can track student progress, assign TAs for your courses, collaborate on documents within your courses and input grades that will be transferred into the registrar’s system. To easily connect with your TAs, students, and other faculty, Canvas features a robust editor and quick discussion using video, audio and text chatting capabilities.
To support Canvas Pilot instructors, we have developed the Canvas Intro Course (login to Canvas to view). Instructors can also watch this video to learn more. The Canvas Intro Course is also where instructors will find assistance on course specific issues.
